I recently worked as an independent contractor for Nokia's Location and Commerce division. I improved internal tool useability and designed a crowdsourcing site for the huge task of mapping the world. I get very into the concept but working on internal tools didn't have the same focus on presentation, graphics, and user experience so I'm looking for something with the bar set a little higher.

This is a screenshot of the new start screen for the Nokia internal 3d mapping tool mocked in Photoshop and then assembled in XAML. Not all the proposed functionality was implemented on the code side, there are supposed to be a saved set of sessions under workflowsand the layout is dynamic to handle a lot or a few workflows depending on what is unlocked for the user.

InCrowd is the Nokia internal crowdsourcing website used for gathering data that isn't easy to automate from satellite imagery. The list of apps needed was undetermined and user stats were my design proposal to make it more interesting to participate. The idea was to make it simple and fast to gather the data from employees and later the public if the results were positive.

Internal department logo to be shown at a much smaller size.
